Hi everyone. Just arrived at the forum by chance, but it looked worth joining. I worked in Stafford for a some years and retain a keen interest in everything that goes on. I visit the town at least once a week and occasionally, if there's a break in the jams, manage to reach a car park!I thought I would start a thread for new users to come and say "Hello," in, so here it is.
If you have just signed-up, please reply in this thread and let us know a bit about yourself!
Have fun.

There's been a bit of chat on here in the past about veg growing - e.g. -Recently moved close to the Stafford hospital area, Am retired [70] v keen on gardening and Mountain biking, [yep, still biking like a madman]
Moved here in September and already dug out a veg garden and erected a greenhouse.cant wait till spring. Interesting to read such a diverse
coverage of subjects from members. Anyone interested in fruit and veg growing can give me a shout if want to share stuff.
Cheers

Hi all, I'm Grant. We moved into the area 8 years ago from the West Midlands and love living in Stafford (minus the current traffic issues). Love walking the dog around the castle and along the disused railway lines and local canals. Avatar to follow. Really enjoy reading the forums for local info and the banter.
