Teams syndrome?
This is just how ghosts feel when people start using a Ouija board.I was just venting my frustration/joy of using Microsoft Teams and the need to go for a short walk at some point during my working day.
Every Microsoft Teams meeting has the same comments (also known as Teams bingo) e.g. “hello can anyone hear me”, “I’m having connection issues”, “can you all go on mute”, “sorry you’re cutting out”, etc.
It all increases the time it takes to have the meeting.
There are also the usual distractions of “sorry there’s someone at the door”, “I need to drop off the call to get a delivery”, “I need to leave to join another meeting”, screaming kids or barking dogs, family members wandering into camera view, etc.
Also people expect me to be available at any time of the day or night just because they have called me on Teams and expect me to answer immediately. I’ve had people call me on my mobile to ask me if I’m ok because I didn’t immediately answer their Teams call.

Well as Ive always said, of managers can't manage in the office what the hell will they do outside the office with people working from home.Always makes me a bit suspicious that.
Ah! I didn't know this!I was just venting my frustration/joy of using Microsoft Teams and the need to go for a short walk at some point during my working day.

My job has stayed the same, just more stress & more hours.
Eldest child's job stayed the same, just with less staff.
Middle child started a new job during lockdown, at a bank in Birmingham, but has so far only worked from home, only having contact with his 'mentor'.
The husband was locked down first time, but this time isn't, although his store isn't open. He & the other managers just check on each other by phone every hour as they're all lone working.
So I don't know anyone else who does teams or zooms, I didn't really realise how difficult it must be, the same as I didn't understand @kyoto49 being lonely stuck at home.
Very interesting!
I bet!It has its limitations but beats travelling 100s of miles for a meeting in person

You may or not know, I got trapped in my work lift for 1 & 1/2hrs at the beginning of lockdown. It was April 1st and no one believed me at first! They didn't even know what the lift alarm bell sounded like, so I had to phone the manager to let her know!

That is some serious bad luck!
I still have to enter anything for Stone and a few villages. Any corrections or additional information welcome.
