Organ Donation

Like my blood, my organs can be given away to whoever (if you fit certain criteria of mine, controversial yes, but mpo) but I'll be wanting some money for them, offer me payment that will be paid to my other half; siblings; chosen charity; family members; mate; whatever, upon my unfortunate demise.

What's wrong with this, nothing as far as I can see, what's mine is mine and can be yours at a price I consider worthwhile.

When there's money involved, you'll see a lot more people offering to give you more than you need!

He is a caring guy who has a bit of a death phobia and refuses to discuss anything to do with death and I think a lot of people think like this. If presumed consent was the way, I don't think he would object to it though.

When I take over, it will be a condition of using the NHS. I may be prepared to have an interim phase where, if you're not prepared to donate organs after death or fluids whilst still alive, then you will not be eligible to receive any treatment that involves the use of such 'products'. It is utterly beyond me why so few people will join in - people are dying needlessly every day whilst we burn perfectly usable spares.

The Belgian experience. Many other countries also have presumed consent legislation.

Tube through the nose into the stomach sounds just about acceptable, but I can imagine a few other methods of introducing the liquidised poop', al of wich :- !
