Because the only chance of finding a brexit bonus is to throw billions at it then claim the millions you get back are validation!The latest Stafford Newsletter reports Bill Cash ranting again HS2 and saying "This is a moment of great opportunity to get things right, both in the interests of levelling up in the right way and saving money and putting money where we need it, such as defence and Brexit opportunities". Brexit was meant to save money including giving the government "£350 million a week ... to fund our NHS" so why now might we need to transfer money from overdue improving infrastructure to so called "Brexit opportunities"?
