We've been at Wildwood Park with our Grandaughter this afternoon. IMHO it is the best one around and knocks spots off the one at Victoria Park. We could do with one on the North end of town too. Perhaps that will be part of the new housing development there along with the schools, and shops etc?

There was at one point last year an attempt at getting the council to revamp Holmcroft park (next to the library) - I'm not sure what's happening & now can't find Facebook page that had the details on - its such a shame that there's nothing for kids in the North End of Stafford. We've been at Wildwood Park with our Grandaughter this afternoon. There's also a good one behind the big new housing development at Doxey (perhaps best accessed from the car park at the end of Martin Drive on Castlefields for those with transport, that also has a gentle off road cycle track for young uns. As it's right next to the old railway line it's handy for those who fancy a walk as well.
I'm pretty sure I you there once!hmostl go to Wildwood Park
