I was confused by this too - I was informed after that only the front half of the store is Poundworld - the rear half is actually "discount Uk" negating the need to sell tat for one pound!

Just popped in for a look, got a few bits and pieces but nowt much. Some things in there are quite overpriced, I saw several items which can be had from Home Bargains for 60-80p being sold for a pound. There are also lots of 3 for £2 offers, but they are badly labelled and half seem to span products which arent included.

Well, I've just paid my first visit just to see what it was like while I was down there- think it will be the last as well!

Lots of the items that I had just paid 59p & 69p for and less in B&M and poundstretcher were £1 or more in Poundworld.

Wandering down to the discount shop part at the back ,everything there that I had just bought in Home Bargains, B&M & Poundstretcher was also a lot dearer.

It is over priced, we thought that, we were looking to get some small travel sized toiletries and surprisingly they were all cheaper in Boots.
