I went a walk around the area on Thursday evening, after closing. Thought it was fairly smart, considering only half is open. The design of the car prk side where the food outlets will be, shows some forward thinking now they have raised it and I would think they will make the cinema the same level. I wasn't too sure about the need to close off the steps with barriers rather than having them open as a walkthrough. A bit security conscious considering they will have cameras everywhere.

As was inevitable, on Sat morning the north end of town minus New Look and M&S was deserted. Will Argos and that Home&Garden place stay?

It can be revealed that Woolworths has chosen Stafford to relaunch with a state of the art new store. "People living in this area are used to suffering and deserve a fantastic new shopping experience," said company spokesperson, Mrs Trellis. "We will be the only outlet in the Midlands stocking 8-track cartridges, Betamax videos and Capstan Full Strength," she continued, before falling over the Pick 'n' Mix counter.
