******SENSE OF HUMOUR FAILURE******
My comment of Phones4U was a joke..... and I was looking on the LXB website.
seems like Riverside was similar last night, simply got to a point that there to much rain for the guttering that collects the rain from the roof and it overflows.
It does if you use video calling...well someone trying to convey a sense of humour or jest could be well served applying a smiley or emoticon so as to relay a lack of seriousness.
Believe or not the Internet doesn't allow one to view facial expressions
Not yet but it will it is flood compensation ,together with council staff only car parking so they can notify immediately and remove like the North Walls car park was or still is unless it has been raised !! Note to Gareth look at the Flood Risk assessment the bollards will stop cars floating awayMore importantly instead of saddos looking like wallies on facebook, did the underground carpark flood ???
Man city game called off due to Electrical storms like the ones in World Cup a few years back , I think of all places that can cope with Rain is Manchester , when it rains it rains !!To be honest the roof is unlikely to be an issue. Buildings in the country are not built to withstand the worse case scenarios like record levels of rain. Buildings are built to cope bit to such a point
You look at man city last night, good job it was called off because the fans would have been soaked as the roof leaked in about 20places. It simply couldn't cope with the constant down poor so it gave way. A bit like my own roof unfortunately, never had a bloody so it couldn't bloody cope anymore

Just terrible when these things happen lol
Facebook states that H&M and River Island are closed today due to flooding....
More common these days than not ,In all fairness yesterdays rain/storm was NOT normal weather for this area.
