Spiders.

Our outside electric box is home to a whole host of different sorts of spiders. One big fat massive one who scuttles off to a hole , but leaves a couple of legs dangling out. Now lately there's more massive spindly ones joined it.

Our meter is set up to give night and day readings , even though our tariff is just the one price we have to give both to British Gas. So have to bravely reach through the spiders and webs to press the button to get both readings.

I could just get a broom and sweep them all out , but they'd only come back so I'm letting them live in peace .

On my way to the Crem today, I noticed three of the houses across the road from the entrance and a bit towards the town, have matching giant webs, with monstrous spiders, stretching from the upstairs windows out to the fronts of the gardens.

I wouldn't normally take too much notice of such things, but it did look quite good, I thought.

Our resident electric meter monster wasn't in their usuual hidey hole place today , where it normally scuttles to with one leg poking out each time I open the door to take readings..... gingerly reached in to press the button between day and night readings between the webs.....

Then realised it was actually sitting inside back of the open door that I was holding with the other hand , accompanied by a smaller one
😧😨 It's got so used to me that it didn't move this time , and must have told it's mate to hang on in there , she's more scared of us than we are of her 😂
