The cinema is available, on eBay, as a model, as it was in its Odeon days:

Initially, the offer included a boat, as well as the cars, but it was pointed out that it was too small.

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out. I wonder if they will keep the other 2 screens, or open it all up.

These days you have to think about what a town lacks when opening a new venue. Unless of course you think you can steal customers away from other places. But that helps nobody long term.

Live performance music venue maybe. However there's houses not a million miles away.

It was built soundproofed enough for films including westerns.

Yeah but gig volume levels tend to be higher. You never need to tell people to switch off their phones or stop talking at gigs. Of course, there's a nightclub or two near by as well.

Films may have quiet suspenseful bits, that music performances may have a lot fewer of, in general.

Although, I have been at phone-restricted music events.

People outside the venue can be an issue, of course, before and after, hence the odd parking restriction times in Friars' Road, presumably as a result of closing time at the Top of the World/Couture?

Enjoying a drop of red.

Living proof that we need experts.

It was more about phones going off during the performance and disturbing the ambience.

Can't say I've ever heard a phone ring at a gig. I know some artists dislike having really ropey videos of them performing uploaded to the internet. In some cases because it's their low effort performances that are ropey :)
