Well, in the end it was just ToriRat and myself. But that was okay. Nice to see Tori again, and it was a bloody good film.
There was a woman waiting in the foyer whom I approached and said "Stafford Forum?" but it was clear she had no idea what I was talking about. Fortunately I didn't flash my badge of "the rude giant", as I dread to think what might have happened.
With regard to the turnout:
Social gathering + cinema visit = a bit of an odd combination, I suppose.
Seeing a film doesn't exactly lend itself to conversation, etc.
But if anyone thinks there's any point in having another Stafford Forum Cinema Night, could that person please speak up and propose the next one, rather than me doing it again. That way at least the person who suggests it ought to turn up, and I definitely will too (provided it's a night when I'm available - Sundays and Tuesdays are usually no good).
