I suppose the group would have to talk about this, personally I have no problem with someone like you joining. In fact one point made at the meeting last night was to encourage people who are considering going into business to make the leap - to perhaps provide a support network of sorts to help those facing the daunting task of business setup.

Agreed, I have also got another attendee confirmed for the 20th - a local family run plant hire business. Sadly one of the marketing people I mentioned have declined, however I am yet to work on the second.

If I remember correctly, what you actually asked for was a little too controversial, so "I <3 scroungers" was a compromise.

Greetings all, we are incredibly sorry that we were not able to attend the meet last night.
As I explained to Andy yesterday, I was at my girlfriend's mum's 50th birthday meal last night - not attending the meal would've resulted in certain parts of my anatomy being pinned to the wall.

Glad the night went well.
Looking forward to attending the next.

lol thanks dude - the headline should simply real 'waaaaaaaaaah waaaaaaaaaaaah i'm such a boring person with absolutely no personality whatsoever coupled with pointless vanity and the only way i can get people to notice me is to get my tits enlarged and then printed in a newspaper'.

Would take me 2.25 months, or 390 hours, to earn that much money BEFORE deductions. Sickening really.

When is the next meeting? I was hoping I could attend last nights but had lots of paperwork to catch up on unfortunatley.

In what way will businesses look to help each other through the meetings etc?

Just would like to gauge and understanding, and what about companies with nothing in common with those involved, would they benefit?

Hi
We are hoping to be able to help and support each other in any way we can, I think we have a wide range of experiences between us.
Two things I am particular interested in - and was touched on in the meeting so I'm sure it will be mentioned again, are helping new businesses set up and also regenerating Stafford town centre, in particular changing peoples negative views and helping to make it a county town to be proud of.
Companies dont have to have anything in common with others in the group and I believe everyone can benefit from it :)
