Stafford Grand Prix

It seems the Stafford Grand Prix has started a bit earlier tonight. Fools* in saxos, corsas etc with huge exhausts leaving Mcdonalds on Eccleshall road, heading for J14 then 'Giving it the beans' up the link road, round the roundabout by the Shire Horse, and back the way they've just come.
Anyone know where any of these tools live? Name and shame them and we can all go and rev the nuts off our cars in their street while they're trying to get some kip!

* Decency prevents me typing the actual word I feel like typing here.

Most of us would have enough common sense and decency, and a grasp of the cost of fuel! How do they afford to waste so much is my question? Derrrrrr, probably don't realise!

PS. I know exactly the word!!

In the thirteenth century similar activities occured on horseback in London, the location was said to be Gropecunt Lane

I dont actually mind them speeding up and down the dual carriageway by Jct14/Shirehorse as long as they are not putting anyone else at risk. (they probably are though) It tends to be pretty quiet at night. I do however mind them doing 60mph down the Eccleshall road!
Having said that as someone who lives round that way I'd say to be fair to the boy racers the vast majority of them dont speed down the Eccleshall road anymore than a lot of people do. I think its just that they have loud exhausts that makes them sound like they are going faster than they are.

young drivers are statistically more at risk of being involved in an accident between 11pm and 5am, presumably when they are showing off!

There is a product out there at www.i-kube.co.uk which offers a solution.

Note: this isnt advertising as I dont want anything to do with young drivers and their associated accidents!

It was far from quiet last night! Its no fun trying to convince a two year old that they really should be going to sleep while that racket is going on!" Would it be considered as antisocial to shoot their tyres out as they pass?

Any road like that is going to suffer these fools. It was like that in Cannock when I lived there. Living on the outskirts near the country lanes was a nightmare. Cars and superbikes racing around the lanes at night.

The long stay car park by Sainsburys turns into a race track most weekends, how the young uns can afford the petrol drive round like they do,never mind the cars, beats me.
When I was up on Crab Lane with the ex we used get idiots in cars using it like a rat run, just lucky no-ne was ever hurt.

Chatting to a lad at work today.. he was so tired as he'd been "racing" all night with his mates, bless... Turns out tearing it at 60mph through Doxey and Seighford in the middle of the night is now something to broadcast and, rather more bizarrely, something to be so inherently proud of..

Further point.. I live on the Lichfield Road so most nights I get lorries, cars, bikes, mopeds all screeching past.. I might set up a speed camera, could pay off my student loan by Christmas

There is a truly spectacular skid-mark on Sandon Road, by the Hopton Street junction. Worth having a look. It's difficult to believe that it occurred at a starting speed of around 30 mph...

And it ends on the footpath.

I have no issue with them having an accident as long as they do not injure others and they are prepared to wait for the ambulance as there may be more deserving people.
