I was just suggesting that £21 seems rather a lot for getting an entry into the race but, as you rightly point out, I suppose we all have our extravagancies.

You could always do a park run, they’re free! They have a great team of volunteers

I was going do the Half Marathon this year, but decided against it. They could all do without the competition.
Along with my knees, hips and the coughing fit I seem to be having every time I move quick. I'll sit this one out.

I've just looked up the Stafford 10k tomorrow to find out about road closures and am astonished to see that "Entry price starts from £21" - just for running six miles. Freedom Leisure must be raking it in.
