To be fair, run and ride moved to Milford as there was much more space, plus it fitted in with it being on the doorstep of Cannock chase.Bin a bit of a wierd one! Mamoth/Specialised moved out of Milford, (former garbage) into Stafford one end of Eastgate St. Bike & Running shop opened at the other end of the Street near Gaol Sqare some time later, they stop selling bikes, concentrate on running, moving bike sales TO the old Mammoth place at Milford. They are now moving the running TO Milford. Was buying shoes in them asked em why? "Footfall, this end of town is dead"!
IMHO that end of the Street is busyer, with comings & goings from new shops opposite, Aldi, Mc Donald ect? But I suppose they both know what they doing! I know which position I'd prefer for an outdoor shop! Well see!
I think they’re the wrong side of the junction - nobody tends to use that road to the left as you walk up from Aldi/b&m and I think a lot of the houses are empty? It’s got a weird vibe anyway whenever I’ve walked down. The side cup a Cha is on seems busierBin a bit of a wierd one! That was exactly my point Bunique! Specialised moved from Milford to the WRONG end of the street. Run & Ride moved out of the potentially better side of the street to open a shop; they have now moved lock & stock to the old Specialised place. I have not got a business, never worked in retail, but I was just wondering which store made the better decision, I think I know where I'd rather be!I think they’re the wrong side of the junction - nobody tends to use that road to the left as you walk up from Aldi/b&m and I think a lot of the houses are empty? Irrespective, if businesses such as this actually got their pricing and customer service right then Milford would be a prime location. That was exactly my point Bunique! I've no idea what bubble tea is. More of a coffee person myself. If you turn the corner you can get a cup of Bubble Tea for £4-odd
Tapioca is extra
Where Mammoth/Specialised is located now, they have their own parking. Even though it’s a cycle shop and lots of customers may cycle to it, car parking is very useful for those who need it.That was exactly my point Bunique! I've looked bubble tea up. Sounds disgusting. Those prices would be considered high for the place in the Arndale food court, let alone a Stafford backstreet.
Yet always people in there!I've looked bubble tea up. Sounds disgusting.
Good for them. Would be a very boring place if we all liked the same thing.Yet always people in there!
Where are they going wrong?Irrespective, if businesses such as this actually got their pricing and customer service right then Milford would be a prime location.
Well the previous occupant charged too much and not allow staff were that pleasant to deal with. No idea about the new lot but will find out in due course as it's my local.Where are they going wrong?
Got a couple of bubble tea shops here in Worcester and always queues outside. I've only ever tried a sip of sons once, he'd got something like a chocolately flavour and strawberry in his bubbles . (But apparently you choose whatever flavour combinations you want) . One sip to try it out of curiosity was ok but wouldn't buy it myself .I've no idea what bubble tea is.
