Stafford shops opening - Turning into a boom town?

This is my biggest bugbear

Spend money on your branding people, even if it’s just using a template graphic off Envato!
Personally I always choose my vet on their logo and branding. The small matter of knowing one end of my dog from the other is largely immaterial.

And while we are talking signage I like my solicitor to have a small brass plate rather than a billboard on a roundabout.

But no one would notice a small brass plate on a roundabout !

I remember seeing an A-board in the town, essentially offering a special deal on a divorce.

Project manager: "so we've spent 6 figures refitting a property into your bespoke vets to give the customers the best experience. Just need to know how do you want your new typeface on the signage?"
Vet owner: "well the stuff on my emails looks ok so let's just go with Arial alright??

To play devil's advocate and mainly I am happy to be a cheerleader for them, I look at that word and it can only be Island.

I don’t pick a vet specifically, no

But I consider good branding part of being a competent business. Munch and Slurp is a prime example of why that’s important

For lack of a better way of putting it, good branding says “we have our shit together”

The new bowling place (Superbowl) at Riverside opens on the 27th July at 9am apparently

Rather annoyingly it looks like they usually have all sorts of interesting stuff like climbing/catch the button type things and mini golf, but I guess there’s no space for that here

The new signage at Island Vets seems even stranger given the different sign used on the entrance to the retail park lol

Not quite a shop but a pop up Thai on a drive on First Avenue just by the turning for Gordon Avenue.

They were only doing Pad Thai noodles and spring rolls today as a bit of a trial for their new van.

They weren't sure which days they'd be opening yet as they're still testing things on the van.

The food was really good and good value and worth calling in if the flags are up when you're passing.

Is there adequate parking nearby, or can their front drive be used ?

Ah yes, we need one of those in Stafford

Opening a store during a cost of living crisis seems especially useful…
I mean, those are the kind if things I want to see in person if I'm going to buy them, and all our spare money if late has gone into the house to shore it up as an investment, and because we spend much more time in it.
