Stafford shops opening - Turning into a boom town?

Somehow that menu is exactly what I was expecting - and having another option that end of town that isn't The Butlers Bell could be useful. Good luck to them.

I called in this morning and it's good, freshly cooked food at a reasonable price and the coffee was very nice too.

The staff are really friendly too and they had quite a few customers in whilst I was there.

It is a bit confusing when you go in because it's not clear whether you order at the counter or whether they take your order at the table. It's the former but quite a few people were waiting at their table to order before they realised.

Also it is cash only at the moment and a few people left when they realised.

I also suggested that they put the menu in the window so that people can see what they're serving and the prices.

Will definitely go back next time I'm at that end of town for food or coffee.

Dessert menu is a bit heavy price-wise but that’s just everything these days…

Doesn’t look half bad overall though

Edit: I take it back, that better be the best damn jacket potato I’ve ever had at £6.70 for a jacket potato with beans and cheese

We walked past yesterday, and I'm sure there was a A board outside with the menu & prices on...

Yes there was an A board with one of the staff standing outside with menus yesterday. To be honest I didn't read the A board because I knew I was going in anyway to try the place out.

My suggestion of putting a menu in the window was more for those looking at the pictures in the windows or those coming in to read the menus or even those passing by when the cafe is closed.

Couple of years back the cashpoint next to the Bear was beeping, to my enjoyment there was £30 in the chute. The slip reported less than£10 balance. My own bank was able to ID source

Anyway long story short, cash was reunited with guy who was panic walking Greengate St with his carer

I very nearly cried......
