An M6 closure southbound between 15 and 14 must be due soon, Shirley?

Maybe it can wait for a slightly warmer day first so we can sit outside the Little George and watch the joy unfold

Outside seating also available at the Dog and Doublet, Sandon

Well, what are they doing now then? If the repairs start by the 10th Feb? Dug the road up for no reason? Today's trip to Stafford towards the Dog & Doublet was a long & painful journey, as was the detour down Yarlet Lane & Marston Lane yesterday.

That's why I can confirm Yarlet Lane was an excellent diversion route this morning and will be on Monday. Almost as good as Alliance Street.
How is Whitgreave Lane as a sublime detour Southbound from the closed A34? Has it many highlights and is it a guaranteed fast short-cut full of twists & turns?

Temporary lights on Baswich Lane at the junction with Baswich Crest. Only two way lights so doesn't include Baswich Crest ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A34 stone road southbound now closed till February 14th @16:00 according to one.network
Unbelievable! How long does it take to dig a hole & weld a bit of pipe together, fill it up and lay some Tarmac? An hour's job at most.
