Someone has lost their spare wheel in the subsidiary lake on Crooked Bridge Road.

It's there on the footpath now, if it's yours.

Why is Sandon Road closed? Is there a flood predicted by the petrol station and currently arid - in which case, why not wait till the dihydrogen monoxide arrives?

And why does it say it is closed till the 29th Feb on the one network map?

I haven't been there much lately, but the tradition has been for the signs to turn up as the lake was fading away, be left there for ages and be ignored, which was awkward if the lake refilled before they were removed.

Three-way trafic lights now in place outside Tesco on Newport Road, all week until Friday February 16th. They've taken out a lane to park their vehicles, so traffic is backed up in both directions on Newport Road. "Refurbishment to Traffic Signals, to remove old and outdated technology and upgrade to newer, more modern and efficient traffic signal equipment."
Nothing about sorting out the flooding, though.

Just missed this about an hour ago. No traffic lights but they were putting them & cones on the pavement ready. Left lane blocked by van just before lights & right lane after lights blocked by another van. At least it’s half term so traffic “may” be a bit lighter.

P. S.
Anyone know if Lake Sandon has subsided now?

Plus there’s now 3 way traffic lights outside the college, if anybody goes that way to avoid the traffic by Tesco…..

I should really have been paying attention to this, I have a visit to Pets at Home Distribution Centre on Wednesday next week, can I get to it from Stafford, and can I get back home from it. Or and I mean this genuinely, should I park near the spitfire pub and walk to it?

You should be able to get to it from the A34. Do you have an employees pass to wag you through the barriers? Or I'm sure you can just park on the road and walk in.

I was volunteering at The Gatehouse last night (a completely sold out Dr Michael Mosely) and quite a few people were turning up extremly late.
People coming in from other areas not realising that the A34 is closed and apparently there are no diversion signs in place?
Then of course trying to find somewhere to park which as we all know isn’t easy if you are not familiar with the town.

Somewhere in the Cannock Rd, New Road, Market Street area. Signs are at the Wolgarston Way mini roundabout - so possibly near the Boat or Star

first time back in the office for 3 weeks, due to the A34 closure, and I can't believe that the Pets @ Home roadworks are STILL going on. Can't see any difference in the last month.
