How long can you sit in the pick-up area outside the station, or did I hear somewhere you can you park in the station multistorey free for so long?

Got 2 lots of passengers arriving , but one train gets in 5.30pm & the other 6pm

I believe that it's 20 minutes for either.

For the multi-storey, just leave and re-enter...

Thanks.Is it a take a ticket at a barrier type of set up?
( Didnt fancy tescos after 45 minutes to get out of their carpark the last time I shopped there)

Yes. Take a ticket on the way in - feed it back into the machine on the way out.

Keep an eye on the time and just come out and go back in again before the 20 minutes is up and it will all reset to zero.

I've always managed to park on the ground level, but there are some exclusions for some of the spaces there.

Also check the time stamped in the ticket when you get it.... Last time I took one it wasn't even close to what the actual time was....

Shouldn't make much difference but youd think they would have it set to the correct time!

Thanks, will do when I drop them back off if I hang around for son to say his goodbyes.

As the later train was delayed slightly last night ,and they were all getting a chippie , I ended up dropping son off at the station to wait for them , driving back home and then driving back down to pick them up from by 'The Island'
