I believe it free on Asda or at least I thought so, I often park,there without shopping. I'd Best check net time

They also scan your thought process as you exit your vehicle and if they encounter any guilt or cockiness brainwaves they put a spell on you

If you pay for your spell within 30 days your nose won't grown any longer

The cameras only check cars entering and leaving for the length of stay as there is a maximum numbers of hours. Signs may say you have to be a shopper but they do not check that. Parked on as asda and tesco many a time within the time allowed without ever shopping, same at morrisons in stone and leek.

Ok let me be a bit more precise about this. The Tesco and Asda car parks are not owned by any council and are provided by those supermarkets for their customers. They don't expect you to take longer than three hours to complete your shopping so give you three hours free so they do not have to operate a refund system like the one operating at Sainsburys.

If you choose to ignore this fact and park in their car parks without actually shopping there, then there is not a lot they can do about it.

Pay on exit is fairer, you pay for what you use. But councils love Pay & Display as there are two profitable lines, those who overpay (money for nothing) and those who underpay (fines).

Gotta pay for the moral boosting clowns or whatever else they waste our money on somehow eh? Speaking of council spending....I noticed gritters out earlier though, is this in response to the snow a fortnight ago or due to the current forecast? You have to wonder!

Going by previous experience in Stafford the multi-storey is more likely to fall on top of the council.

Not sure about multi storey, morrisons was originally down to be 2 hours free parking, apparently this is the same or similar as stone morrisons. Not sure if anything has changed.

Just had a "look at me and what I do for you folk" leaflet through the letterbox from Jeremy Lefroy and it states the multi storey car park will be pay on exit and Morrison's will be 2 hours free parking...
