I went about 20 years ago and had a great time, the only bad memory I have is the food which was diabolical. Beyond diabolical. I suspect it's changed now though. I actually live very close to Bowers and regularly walk the dogs through there.
She's not exactly a fussy eater, she just eats the same as us - but if we have her friends round all they want to eat is 'something & chips' & she's not used to that - she loves her veg & spicy (the spicyer the better) food....she's also got a thing about butter- she's like me, only likes the tiniest amount on bread/toast & she hates Jam - she's convinced that that's what she'll get for dinner....I went about 15 years ago - yep the food was crap (didn't help I was a horribly fussy eater)
Because I refused to eat the food provided I wasn't allowed to spend my pocket money at the tuck shop -
So basically I didn't eat for the whole week - I lost a stone, my mum said I came back looking like a skeleton...
But things like that don't happen nowadays!
I'm sure she'll be fine!
(Sorry that was a really unhelpful comment....)

All waved off, now starts the worrying....
Take all phones off the hook. Problem solved...All waved off, now starts the worrying....
She woke up saying she had a headache, tummy ache, was hot & felt sick.....& she was roasting! I put it down to nerves & excitement .Did you have any problems getting her out of the house/car?
Who was worrying more this morning? You or your little un?
You're child free till Friday, what do you plan to do with your time?

She didn't put up any fuss about going but clearly still didn't want to go....so we dropped her off at 9, but went back at 9.30 to wave her off....she ran over & gave us a massive hug & seemed really excited by then - yay!
Totally child free for the week as the other one is off to Budapest tonight... we were planning to do normal people stuff like having a lie-in, going to the pub/cinema, maybe for a meal & decorating small child's room - but the vets bills have put pay to any idea of fun....so we will be staying in staring at 4 walls as usual... husbands poorly too just to add to the fun!
