Called in Titanic's Greyhound at Newcastle this week, supervisor there has applied for the Sun. Chances are that the Sun will have a facebook page like other Titanic pubs where friends can find out what brews are coming.

Tell them to get a real cider in and I'll be along! Unless I'm mistaken the Spittal Brook is the only place to get Addlestones around here, and the Pie & Ale / Greyhound are the only others to sell something that isn't Strongbow! (both sell Thatchers Gold).

This is just draft of course, but the same places also appear to be the only ones not following the Bulmers/Magners crowd for bottles.

We were supplied with Titanic shirts for the crew to wear during the Rangers Beer Festival and on the back was printed "The Sun - re-opening in July". No specific date but gives you an idea. Well, theres 31 days to choose from!
