I have suggested to Mr Titanic that he joins us on here, but he says things are a little hectic at the moment and he'll probably have to concentrate on actually opening the place first and then see what time he has..

I've just bumped into George in the town. I asked him how he was and was told that he had a broken leg. He did appear to be limping a bit more than usual, but the leg did seem to still only be hingeing in the original locations. I reminded him of the imminent re-emergence of a Sun-like facility and he informed me that he 'wouldn't be around then' - alarmed, I pressed him further, only to be informed that he was 'leaving Stafford', although his destination seemed unclear....

As I said, he was unclear about the destination, but perhaps he's working on a need-to-know basis..

Things are about to move at the Sun, apparently. The contractor starts on Monday and the original signs have been returned - details on the Facebook page, but a précis here for the luddites..

Activity is confirmed i saw one guy doing a lot of physical activity and two chaps studying what i took to be plans, i did venture to tap on the window and give them a thumbs up to which they smiled and waved back.......
