Do they still have the giant crucifixes on top of the hill? It amazed me that nobody has ever been nailed to them...Yesterday I saw....a quarry, some pools, a horse, some dogs fighting, some sand, two squirrels, an R C track and some sandstone - all at Park Hall Hills. Yes and No. There are 3 metal boxs bolted and padlocked into the ground facing the lake (I nearly rolled down the hill just there yesterday!), husband, who is from up that way says that they bring the crosses out at Easter and put them in the box type supports. Now I know it's a bit nippy today but I tend to think this latest fashion fad should not be foisted on the general public - I'm quite dubious about people even wearing them in the privacy of their own homes!
