It would be interesting to know when it was decided that the historical EDR route to Milf Rd had few benefits, and whether that coincided with the land by the railway being sold.

Looks like the Stafford Gospel Hall Trust will be applying for planning permission to build a meeting room on land opposite the Saltings in Baswich Lane....yet more traffic to negotiate the existing inadequate mini traffic islands and one way bridges.

Let us pray that all will be well.

Presumably after selling the Lynton to Co-op?

TBF i'm finding it difficult to believe the congregation is that significant - how many of them can there be?

There are a fair few in the congregation - for example the last application for a site on Falmouth Ave showed Sunday early morning (6 - 7) gatherings 0f 30-50 and 50 - 80 in the afternoon. Monday evenings estimated to be 30 -50 and Friday evenings 80 -115.

Crikey. Is that actual gatherings, rather than imaginary ones?

TBF these people have 'form' on the 'making stuff up' front...

I don't know it well enough TBH. I just had a little look at an online version but it was indescribably boring so gave up.

From what i understand it deviates from the Jewish tradition a bit after Abraham, so the whole Genesis thing is part of Islam's creation myth. So that's clearly bollocks.

The Planning application is certainly attracting a lot of comments on the SBC website and there is also a 131 name petition. However, I can't help thinking that there will be a rubber stamp waiting in the wings .....

I have full confidence that the local ward councillors, in particular the one who happens to be chairman of the development company submitting the plans, will strongly object to the proposal.

He represents Weeping cross, the houses are literally a few feet away in Baswich ward. Another reason for him to be kicked out of the council.
