At first i was without wait, now suddenly my wait is nearly over?

My wait rose, then subsided, astonishingly quickly.

Nothing can now drag me down - i'm waitless.

Drove past this the other day and did wonder what it was going to be. Kind of looked abandoned. Nobody working on it no signage, so I'm glad it is going to be used .

Now I'm all for supporting my local town but when it comes to supermarkets I show no loyalty and as I live halfway to Uttoxeter I feel very justified in shopping there!

Actually for some people it's easier to shop at Waitrose in Newport than travel in to town. I guess the same will be for those who live at the Weston end of town

I know people who live at Weston who prefer to come the cinema in Uttoxeter rather than the Apollo in Stafford, as it's clean and plenty of leg room etc. plus you can park, plus we don't have those traffic issues that Stafford does (I've lived in Stafford and worked there for over 20 years so I'm familiar)....so can well see the Waitrose will draw people in from the outlying areas. Will the new Stafford cinema draw them in I wonder?

Not all Waitrose shops stock the same goods

They grade their shops according to the spend of each catchment

It maybe a case of less foie gras and more mardi gras

In the 90's I clearly remember not being able to buy silk knickers in the Wolverhampton branch of M&S but I could in the Telford one

A girl deserves silk knickers

Fufu's avec soie? Mais oui!

The Waitrose delivery van is quite a common sight in our village, although not to our house.

I prefer to choose my own stuff and am quite happy with Aldi/Sainsburys/Asda or whichever supermarket I happen to be passing.

Mr Sizzle is quite a common sight in my 'village'

I prefer to use Northern Lights Chippie - I just happen to be passing if I drive up the Stone Road at teatime

Actually, when I say the Waitrose van is a common sight, I may have exaggerated somewhat.

Our friends over the road order from there. So thats one house.

Surely you meant 'ghetto'?

No, although Elvis was in the parish last Friday so there's a coincidence.
