Does anyone have any recommendation for a washing machine repair. Unit is approx 3 years old.

Its a Candy who offer a 10 year parts warranty but want £150 labour but only £75 if they cant fix it.

It might be worth investing in insurance. I pay roughly just over £20 a month for 2 washer dryers, a fridge freezer and a fridge, through Domestic & General. I've had to call them out to my washer twice. I pay for the insurance on my sisters washer dryer, because we bought her the machine. That went wrong about a year after she had it, the parts needed alone cost over £150, then there was the fitting on top.
It was initially a bit more expensive for hers, because I didn't start the policy from new, but I think it's more than paid for itself.
If there's the rare chance the machine can't be fixed, then you get a new one to replace it.

Enjoying a drop of red.
Caveat, I have not had need to use these people yet but have heard some positive comments.

I did wonder after I’d posted. It’s been a few years since I used him & thinking about I haven’t seen his van around for a fair bit.

I have insurance with them too on my washing machine . With them for 7 years , washer was broke beyond repair but because my policy had rolled over to a new year they wanted me to pay the rest of the policy upfront before they would replace washer

Very impressed with Appliance Force. 2 man team sorted it out the washing machine in about 25 minutes. Motor brushes needed replacing. Very reasonable £65. So would recommend

We had our latest Bosch washing machine from Appliance Force , as Tom Sturgess wasn't working at the time due to Covid shielding. Got it from the Stoke Appliance Force though as for some reason we couldn't get it from Stafford. The blokes were really good fitting it and super service.
