This was issued fifty years ago today.
At the time, I thought it was a vision of the future, but most people I knew seemed to regard it as self-indulgent nonsense that would soon disappear.
Around 1978, I borrowed the LP from the library and a book about Tutankhamun came home with it, full of colour pictures of the grave goods that were found in the tomb.
