You’d think those train drivers would be clever enough to realise their trains were too heavy to bounce.

Sat night we went into Lichfield to meet friends for dinner, hadn't seen them for a while so that was nice.

Last night we braved the wind and rain to venture into Wolverhampton to go to The Wolverhampton Grand.
We we’re initially going to take the train but we were worried that they might cancel the last train home should the predicted storm start with any ferocity. As it happens the weather wasn’t as bad as expected.

Anyway, the show was The Best of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, a Christmas present and we had a very enjoyable evening.

I might get to Lichfield on Saturday, but not for a dinner.
I was in Wolverhampton three days ago, but not for a show.
Were those five jackets sponsored by the local football team ?

Are they just a tribute act? You know, someone who comes along and sings the songs not even trying to sound the same. Or a full on Frankie sound a like?
I just love anything Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons have ever done.

The lead singer had the falsetto voice so it was a Frankie sound a like and they did all the dance moves too.

Gareth Gates was there too, he didn’t sound anything like him.

We go quite often to these things, we absolutely love the music Of Frankie Valli.

''Oh what a night" ! can't stop singing that now .

That came on in a pub here before Xmas. Years ago in " The Grot' everyone did 2 claps at certain parts. Did that in the pub and the youngsters wondered what we were clapping for

Sounds like a good show @Carole

Yes, he’s currently doing a tour “Gareth Gates in The Best of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons”… you can see him in the photo. (Second from the right).

Its also why there are 5 of them and not four.

He wasn’t in the whole show, just kept popping on stage for some of the songs.
