Too right! I had 32 addresses in 18 years before this house - and I've been here for nearly 30 years. Maximum before was two and half years in one house - most were under a year.tek-monkey said:Did you get stuck here after Poly? Seems a common thing...

Mr Barton in his chemistry lessons, vile temper, but was randomnly talking to him in the pub the other night when he came in with another teacher from blessos, Mrs Moore, who was the smallest teacher therescorpiokisses said:Went Blessoes - left in 97. Mr Sartin was sexist but the English department were great - except Ms. Tait/McGovern, she was scary. Mrs Cunnion used to talk in descending volume until you could barely hear her, then she'd get mad at you for asking someone what she said! Had some well nice Chaplains though.
Indeed, Roy was a really nice chap. I've known him for just the last few years and only heard of his departure yesterday. He'd been doing quite well lately, I thought.stoofer34 said:Burton Manor then Rising Brook Secondary Mod

You were actually at school with my bro then? More history than i thought!mitch said:as a bit of a newbie I just need to know what I'm up against in the ''school bragging rights'' stakes, I'm an old Kingston (before it turned into one of those puffy middle school things with added girls) lad. Dinner time was looked forward to by only two things 1) A decent fight on the football pitch or over the park, or 2) hanging over the hedge at Riverway and having a drool.

Sad to hear that. Mr Bostock certainly knew how to swing that cane, the only one of the Heads that hurt when you got the whack, at least five pairs of PE shorts required for insulation.stoofer34 said:Burton Manor then Rising Brook Secondary Mod

I went through the old primary, middle & high sytem, being at Doxey, Chetwynd and then King Edward. Reading back I think there's a few old faces on here?
I went to Adams' for sixth form, so it's clearly not all that!shoes said:Apart from me I not aware of anyone on the forum who went. Its a good school although very traditional, you won't find a travel & tourism GCE available there lol

Congratulations upon escaping one of the most remote places of EnglandJade-clothing said:I went to Boston High School - sadly Boston in Lincolnshire not the Us. It was an all girls school for the brainy ones and I hated it - they didnt like people with ambition and we were pushed to do the sort of lessons that would make us good wives. So i have 8 O'levels but unfortunately most of them are in things like Needlework and cooking and the like. The head mistress was a right old battle axe, woe betide anyone who got on the wrong side of her! Which wasnt easy as she was as wide as she was tall!
