Chicken, potatoes, carrots, onions, and green beans, covered in garlic, oregano, lemon & olive oil.

Tonight my parents are round. We were going out for a meal but have decided that we'll give that a miss, just at the moment.

So Arroy Thai it is then. And because they're stopping over until after breakfast and don't need running home, a soupçon of wine may be consumed.

Just been to Patties + Ting and we were very impressed again. Took 8 year old as a reward for his outstanding term report and he munched his way through a chicken burger and fries but did try some of the goat curry.
Give it a try.

A friend of Mrs T's is here tonight, has brought a bottle of red with her. "This is really nice" was the call.
It's 8% and tastes like Ribena.
It's the thought that counts, I've opened a bottle of Guv'nor and hidden it.

Beans on toast. Was meant be with sausages, but the lazy git the resides in the back bedroom loves the sausages, so he always nicks mine. He had a McDonalds earlier. All followed by half a tub of Quality Street. It's no wonder i'm so sodding fat!

Shop bought Chicken fajitas and nacho cheesy bites.

Truly terrible. Never, ever bother to waste your money on this...

Glad I didnt pay that price, as all you get for your money is 4 doughy wraps, seasoning for your tomatoes, and a sachet of sauce to top the chicken & veg that you add.

Nacho cheesy things were nice though.

She's stopping to watch Strictly, I'm just finishing the Guv'nor. Cannot be held responsible for burying an axe in her head. In addition to bringing shit wine, she's as boring as f*ck.

Takeaway from Don Luigi in a bit. Having mixed vegetable stroganoff, pan fried sea bass and stuffed pork fillet.

Don't know what the others are having yet...

Had lunch with my son at Zizzi today and the food, drink and service were really good albeit it's a restaurant chain.

Would go back again based on today's experience.

When I went to Zizzis all I could think of was going to the M&S opposite and buying the exact same meal for a fraction of the price...

Last night was cheesy pasta pie with WAY too much cheese!

When I went to Zizzis all I could think of was going to the M&S opposite and buying the exact same meal for a fraction of the price...

Yes it was quite expensive but I was planning on spending about the same amount at the Armenian we were planning to go to in Manchester after the match but the match got cancelled.

Just wanted to try somewhere new and it made a pleasant change.

Toad-in-the-hope this evening with broccoli and gravy. Always hit and miss with batter, either rises too much or not enough. Let’s hope it more of the latter as the pan isn’t massive.

Because beef gravy doesn't taste right with the pork chops.
