I mentioned this when working in the kitchen, got ridiculed. Till one of them Googled it.
I've heard of this years ago.....but I don't have a dishwasher & don't like salmon. (Tinned salmon is acceptable )

For more imaginative cooking ideas, Google how to cook food in a kettle....

Enjoying a drop of red.
Had a proper feed this afternoon before the match. So tonight was just beans on toast and very nice it was too.

Just got back from a weekend break in Aviemore!

It's the October half term (or tattie holidays as it's called up here!) so I've promised the husband I will repay his kindness and make tasty tea all week!

Tonight was a festive sprout and cranberry strudel!

Sounds fantastic, the carer announced last night that we 'must eat more lentils'......wonderfull, ive only been trying to convert him to less meat more lentils for the last 10 years!

Tonight's tea is chicken Kiev (for the carer), cheese and ham filled chicken for myself & minime, chips, baked beans and bread n butter.......keeping it old skool 70's style.

We eat lentils at least once a week!

They are delicious, versatile and cheap - what's not to like?!

The offering tonight was Pork steaks, roast and mash potatoes and yorkie puds. I also had carrot and swede mash, smothered in the Bisto vegetarian gravy. Every bit eaten, no complaints.
Then the great unwashed Jesus looking thing from the back bedroom informed me, he had found a Mint Vienetta in the freezer, sometime during this last week. And he'd eaten the lot, in one sitting. Sending photos to the big brother during the process, causing much merriment and jealously.
