The carer had made a slow cooked chilli, but I really fancy chip shop chips, so being as I'm poorly, chip shop chips & chilli it is......

Got some dirt cheap reduced Stilton from co-op on the way home and a couple of packs of pigs in blankets. That and crackers is tea sorted, as Mrs p is away working overnight and p jr is at the outlaws near Newport as I'm working from home tomorrow.

Tonight was hostility at Anfield and jolly nice it was too. Lovely bit of smoked salmon, followed by beef wellington and then a nice raspberry pavlova. Glad I wasn't paying...

Leg of lamb studded with garlic currently in the oven, roasties, mash, yorkie puds, carrots, broccoli and pan gravy. Wine will be taken.

Tonight will be picky cheese and crackers as we're still stuffed from our morning fry up in the campervan plus a cheeky 99 ice-cream on the beach!
