Me and a mate went to Sidari, Corfu last month. All inclusive and hot all week. Highly recommended resort if you want a more chilled hol rather than clubbing. Nice bars and restaurants but fairly quiet so everybody was friendly and very welcoming as they need your business.
Add to that, you can see Albania from the sea front and theres some nice local scenery as well as loads of boat trips.

I've been to shell island twice this year, while all the kids were at school it was quite and fairly empty, and I want/need to go again soon so I'm hoping for a nice week in august.

I went to Doxey Marshes - it was a toss up between here and the Syrian border

Had a wonderful holiday in Cornwall (1 week) and Devon (2 weeks). Great weather!
Even had a day out to Stafford from Paignton.
By train going from Paignton early in the morning (First class of course)
And in the late afternoon back again.
Real bargain by Britrail pass...

Finland, was awesome. And to my surprise, not that cold, at -10... Like a different kind of cold, not damper wet, just snow.

I was thinking of paying Finland a visit later this year, for the rally - still trying to plan this years travels, as a trip to New York is also on the cards just before Christmas all being well

Not been Greece since they used Drachma, but loved it. Favourite holiday was Corfu, a tiny little place called Arrilas that you could walk around in 15 minutes (bet it aint now!). Was completely away from it all, was great.

Well done Mrs T ...Have a great time!

In Palma Nova, Majorca at the moment , with nearly a week still to go :)
First holiday abroad was at Palma Nova as a !8 year old back in 1985. Our hotel/apartments had a big pool area, thatched bar and big palm trees. Used to have disco nights up to 12 o'clock, felt like Club Tropicanna.
Palma Nova had a couple of lively bars back then but was a lot quieter than neighbouring Magaluf.
