Quite a lot of people feel shy or uncomfortable in certain situations.
However, if your shyness is really holding you back and impacting on your life ...have you thought about taking steps to "not be shy"?
Or to find a way to deal with it?
A really good hypotherapist can help with this.

I've had a good few years - I've generally been feeling positive, but I guess it's just been eroding away recently
I've had a few knockbacks in recent months - I'm off to the doctor next week, I'm hoping he can give me some advice to put things back on track. Feeling a bit better right now, so hopefully my head will stay clear for a while
Life's a funny old thing and there's absolutely no telling how things will pan out, I have found. I used to be VERY shy back in the day but I'm not any more. No magic cure, it just seemed to get less and less over time. See the doc by all means but I think the only thing you or anyone can do is just ride the waves and wait for life to pan out in one way or another.I've had a good few years - I've generally been feeling positive, but I guess it's just been eroding away recently

You could be right - http://www.rte.ie/news/2010/0708/133130-penguin/ .I have a friend who is obsessed with Penguins - I'm convinced she's probably got some secret pet ones stolen from a zoo hidden away somewhere...

I was staying at a friend's house once, and was in the early stages of a cold at the time. I was warned that, if I left the door of my attic bedroom open, the cats would hassle me. This was of no concern, so I decided to allow them access.Who would let cats in the bedroom - i won't allow mine in my bedroom its clean and i dont want filthy paws on my duvet. and the thought of them being in my bed is awful dreadful i shudder at the thought, what if they decided to sufficate me in my sleep.
Our 3 have the run of the house all day, we put them down at 8pm, that's the time they all decide go use the dirt boxes.I was staying at a friend's house once, and was in the early stages of a cold at the time. I woke up the next morning and was clearly in the advanced throes of man-flu. The gurgling noises as I breathed indicated a headful of snot. However, as I became slightly less comatose, it became apparent that the noise was not me, but the cat that was asleep next to me, with his nose in my ear.....
Sigh - I was sleeping well tonight for once, but this evil sore throat I've inherited has woken me up...
I'm a raving insomniac. Something I was prescribed to help was an antihistamine called Atrax. It contains sedative properties, it's non addictive and has few side effects. It does work, clearly I haven't taken it tonight though! I haven't made it to bed before 4.00am for as long as I can remember, often I don't bother and try to catch up in the day, a luxury I know most don't have.
