Riverside shopping centre on hold?

No they have not, these units are too big and costly to a fragrance shop, certainly for the stafford requirements.

I am one of a small number of agents for this site. PM me the details of the two agents you spoken with as I know them all and front runners of those agents.

2 other units have also been let to national retailers both of whom do not have a presence in the town. These will be released subject to contract and makes the development over 90% full.

retailer with signed and sealed contracts with fixed terms leases are:

Cinema still happening and a chain has been selected sometime ago but yet to announced.

Cinema is the last phase to be completed, at the earliest this will be is jan 2017.

They have alot to do in that section including raising the path opposite SBC to street that will include an underground water filtration system if the river level gets too high. It will help water the new trees they will plant :)
Its good to hear....much better info than the bollox posted on the fake facebook page https://www.facebook.com/CinemaWorldstafford/?fref=ts

At least once it opens there will be an easy route to walk from the new car park, people seem reluctant to walk round at the moment! Can they get out onto the river or do they have to walk up past the old library? Never seen so many queues at the guildhall!
Both pedestrian exits from the car park lead users along the river to Bridge Street opposite Curry Kuteer.....

Shame it looks just like a boring office block. Hardly a mini Trafford Centre. How come we always end up will all naff looking buildings?
We are a small town. It is a small town shopping centre. Looks OK to me.

It's certainly an improvement over the Guildhall or the wasteland that is the precinct behind it.

If I want to look at fine architecture then I'll go to Paris or Rome or maybe Greece.

I should point out I adore the naffness of the Trafford center, I talk about it in lectures and everything, but it would look very silly next to the Sow.
Lol, I guess it would, but I'm sure we could do better than all the shoe boxes we seem to get.
But at least we're getting a few more stores and a covered roof.

I don't really do 'shopping centres', Telford is as exciting I get & its just a horrid maze of corridors- why o why are there never any windows ?

I like Telford (in so far as I like anywhere for shopping, which I hate, unless it involves cars, bikes or gadgets) but the main shopping centre was clearly designed by someone with issues.
