How are we left in the lurch? The council has had its money and though it would be nice if the car park opened, lack of parking spaces in town is not an issue at the moment.
The car park will open when the other retail units open, if not before, I'm sure.
There may be plenty of space at the south end now, but losing Morrisons and the spaces at the other side is a problem, as even the council admits. Most people aren't going to walk from Riverside to see a few charity shops.
Anyway, there's more to LXB than Stafford.
