REALLY? Me and my other half Ben have said for ages that Stafford would be a gold mine for a Burger King. The Rugeley one is far to small and doesn't have the freestyle Coca-Cola machine in it.

One of the high street stores is definitely going into the Guildhall, not sure if it's into the old Topshop. The under offer sign has now been taken down from the window however. I've *heard* maybe Savers is moving..?

Yes - I say "semi-official" because the statement came as 'fact' from somebody who is in an official position and should 'know', but I do have some doubts about their level of understanding. I will believe it when somebody inside the Burger King structure feels like confirming it.

Savers is certainly moving, so the Guildhall will be a good bet. I've always thought it strange that Savers and Superdrug are so close together, given they are owned by the same people (the same people as The Perfume Shop, incidentally- not to be confused with The Fragrance shop in the Guildhall)

Im glad savers are moving. It's a shop that my wife and I use regularly but it's a nightmare to use with a pushchair because the aisles are too narrow and there are steps at the rear of the store. Whenever we go in there we have to take it in turns.

Any news on who is moving into the guildhall yet - haven't seen any new shops yet, heard there may be a food court opening?
