Burnt buns?
But the answer to the question of alcohol has been posyed here already. So you just come across as being a bit of a goady f**ker as they say in other forum circles.I haven't been yet but messaged them through their facebook account and they read it but didn't bother responding. A shame cos I would take a party there if I knew the basics.
I thought asking if their food was halal and can you take your own alcohol was quite a straight forward question?

So is it Reddit or Mumsnet?.... a bit of a goady f**ker as they say in other forum circles.

Being a nosey wotsit, and the term being a new one on me, I googled "goady f***ker" and after discarding the many links with a caprine association, these were the two English language forums that came up.
I think so, though obviously i didn't use the two (or three ) asterisks. Are you reading bunique's posy correctly?

Apologies Gilbert. A weekend of sleep deprivation does not make me a pleasant forumite and I may have read something into your post which wasn’t there. I am still curious though as to why you want to know if the place is Halal? I may have made an incorrect assumption that you are not Muslim. However given the reports this week of staff at a “red tractor approved” farm smashing piglets heads against a wall, I think the argument for halal or otherwise being more humane than the other has gone well and truly out the window.
I asked the Halal question to two establisments prior to eating out this weekend.Apologies Gilbert. Agreed.Although I do stand by the fact anyone who is not Muslim and gives a shit about Halal whilst still eating meat is a walloping hypocrite.
