The ones that were created by Cuba and Venezuela collaborating? The US won’t like that one bit.

Mostly, I suspect, the ones used to control HIV/AIDS, that were produced to combat SARS & MERS or ones that have been trialled for Ebola.

So, if they do end up closing the schools for a full term what happens exactly?

You’d have students at college age with no GCSEs, and everyone else missing a third of a curriculum.

While much of the world is buying and stockpiling bogrolls and hand sanitisers, in the USA Aldi and Lidl are removing trumpets, diving suits and Mig welders (sorry @Mikinton) in order to make room for AR15 assault rifles, Smith and Wesson .357 magnum revolvers, Browning .50 calibre machine guns (with a free tripod) and good old no nonsense .45 Colt semi-automatics. We call it 'self-isolation.' They call it 'survivalism.'

Darwin awards all round it seems to me. :heyhey:

Heard on radio ,driving back tonight , that there is talk of exams etc being sat in September instead.
Can't see how that is going to work with people relying on A level grades to get into uni????

It’s going to be real interesting when this all blows over and you get a mixture of businesses having to justify why people can’t keep working at home because they’re super micro-managey, and businesses looking at how much less they’d be paying in rates, rent, etc if they downsized and people worked from home.

This is going to be quite a shift.

Waiting for the delivery van with my Mothers Day pressie , having to constantly watch the window as I wouldn't hear a knock above the noise of the hoover, carpet shampooer , hairdryer, kettle, washing machine, dryer, the builders over the back, chopping of veg ... Realising now that I won't be able to do anything during the day with phoning and skyping going on. Even the ticking of the clocks sounds extra loud today!

Sorry neighbour....I'll be doing nightshifts :D

Just thought, listening to the amourous goings on , it's going to be rather embarrassing when noisy screeching sex couple next door are banging away mid conversation

Sitting in an oven-like re-arranged house trying to get the shampooed carpet dry before the crawling around attaching wires . If the boss arrives sooner than expected , he'll be driving back home down the motorway with wet knees :hmm:

Ive been prescribed ibuprofen gel.
...also anti inflammatory tablets , they are also a concern it seems :/
I'm not supposed to have anti inflammatories with my meds, but I do occassionally use both the tablets and gel when desperate. Can't buy from our local chemist though, the pharmacist leaps from behind the counter and stops the sale . I'm still here so far....

Just had a text from Stafford health and well being.

All doctors appointments now gone to telephone appointments only until further notice.

Anyone needing an appointment should ring rather than go to the reception desk, online booking is also closed.
