I got a visit from our labour party candidate last night.
i was busy with 'carer' duties and by the time i answered she had gone but left a leaflet.
i cant say ive ever had a visit from a conservative candidate since ive lived here , maybe its because im on a council estate road and it doesnt fit in their demography
perhaps its good for them that it stays that way
Fcuk 'em, plebs. What about the rest of the constituency?
Made out of 100% genuine peasant. That is quite an impressive jacket hood
The biggest problem is people think they are there for the average tax paying public , but the truth is theres not many that fit in that 1%.
That’s not strictly true.
The 1% are NOT the average tax paying public.
The top 1% of high earners actually shoulder the burden of paying 27% of the nations tax.
Approximately 43% of people don’t pay tax at all.
So shouldn’t this country be supporting the higher earners because they contribute the most to the tax bill?
There is something very wrong with a society that doesn’t appreciate hard work and success.
Those that have worked hard to achieve, those that have made sacrifices to better themselves.
These people are paying over 40% tax.
Why are so many people against hard work and success?
Do so many people nowadays think it’s “their right” to get benefits, to choose a lifestyle of not working?
These people are relying on the tax payers to help them and yet belittle them for being “posh”.
The high earners give nearly half of what they earn to the tax bill.
Do you seriously think that making their tax bill even higher is fairer than actually encouraging people to realise the positivity in earning their own living and not choosing a benefit lifestyle?
That particularly 1% pay no tax at all, it's offshore
The Conservatives exist for the elite and the deluded
Unless you’re circumstances have changed, do you not now live offshore yourself?
Still owning a property in the UK and renting it out while actually living in France?
I think some people living on the breadline might consider your lifestyle elitist.
I think perhaps you are confused between working and living in the EU, and lower CGT tax rates, carried interest, entrepreneurs relief, layers of shell companies, offshore trusts and diversionary locations for assets and intellectual property, residing on paper and resting in invisible accounts
