That happened to me (apparently it’s quite common ) just stick with it. I stayed the same for about a month then all of a sudden I lost 5lbs in a week

Winter weight - I like that. Never even entered my head that it could be a seasonal thing.
@Alee, Thanks for that, it can be so frustrating. I will keep going, I've always said I'm in it for the long haul. I dread to think what weight I would be if I hadn't started SW - and that keeps me going too.

Have you tried running. I started as an absolute beginner and would thoroughly recommend it. Not only is it great cardio but it burns loads of calories and tones bits up, if you know what I mean. At the end of the day reducing calorie intake will only go so far, you need to increase your metabolic rate which any form of consistent exercise will do, but I recommend running :). I've posted about beginners running at my club in another thread.

I have to admit I have not thought about running. I see people out running in all weathers and I just think, "they look bloody knackered!"
Having said that I've just had a look at the thread, thanks @kyoto49. I do think you are right, I do need to get moving more and I find it really interesting that a non runner can get to your standard in a few months AND you are obviously enjoying it. Its given me food for thought, maybe I should just try rather than listening to the doubt in my head that I wouldn't last 5 minutes.

Walking's always a good start. Lots of nice places to walk around here. Try to do 20mins a day initially and it won't be long before you notice a difference. Cycling's good as well.

You absolutely should try it! Find a beginners group and you won't need to last 5 minutes, the first week is run a minute, walk a minute 8 times...you only need to last a minute! Most men would even manage that haha ;)! The advantages of the beginners group is that you have friends to run with you who support you and motivate you. It's absolutely fantastic. A runner you don't need to be but you'll soon become one and be buzzing with both the physical and mental positives it creates! I'm running an hour 3 times a week at the moment and loving it. Give it a try!

I'm trying to eat as much fruit and vege as possible this week to counteract the amount of crap I've eaten recently.

    So far today I've had:

    Blueberries
    Raspberries
    Strawberries
    An orange
    A banana
    Grapes
    A kiwi
    A plum
    A pear
    Beetroot juice

With vege stir fry planned for tea!

Thank you all for your concern over my digestive system...

I can confirm that I have not had excessive flatulence or shat myself...

I have checked the entire Hallmark website, and, although they do have a lot of Thank You cards, they don't seem to have that one.

In times of need people say:

+ It was meant to be
+ Every cloud has a silver lining
    + It was fate
+ Everything happens for a reason

    My Mother says:

'It could be worse - you could have shit yourself'

    Thanks Mum x
