Arriva: From today Friday 27 July 2017, at the expense of Arriva, we have registered extra 1b journeys Monday – Friday.

We hope this goes someway to addressing some of the local residents’ concerns, we will endeavour to reinstate the 825 service as soon as the opportunity arises.

There has been timetable information put up around the Baswich estate, to try and notify the residents of these extra services.

BCG will contact Cllr Patrick Farrington and others who have been involved to thank them for listening to our concerns and coming up with a solution to the issue.

ST Works update:
Phase Two, of our work is now underway at weeping cross, and we expect this section to be completed by the end of next week.

We have progressed with this work much better than expected, therefore commencement dates and durations for each phase have changed to allow works to continue and help minimise disruption by completing this work as quickly as possible.

Please continue to visit and support local business during the essential works.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the local community for your continued patience and cooperation throughout.

Working in Partnership: Healthwatch - Your Views
Via Smart Alert.

We are continuously working with our partners to ensure that local residents live safe, healthy and prosperous lives.

Health and care issues can be part of the conditions, causes and consequences of crime and disorder.

Staffordshire has a Health and Care service called ‘Healthwatch’ to help residents get the local health and care services they need.

The service is being recommissioned from 1st April 2018 and it would helpful if you gave your views on what the service should provide.

Please click on the link below to find out more about ‘Healthwatch’ and have your say.

Confirmation, 127 properties for the former Police HQ site.View attachment 4462

Are the white areas going to be the front garden/drive?

If so, are the green areas going to be the back garden? It's not easy to see how much land each house has.

Although on first glance it does look like there are some green spaces which is good.

However, I'm concerned about doctors facilities.... my friend on Wildwood says that it's really hard to get a
appointment with the doctor at the moment.

How are the new houses going to impact on an already over stretched area?

Why can't get planners think ahead and build new health centre, shop, school etc?

Might be worth 'boning up' on which of the trees have TPO's on them.

If memory serves @1JKz has alluded to being the keeper of such knowledge some moments ago.

No time for riddles, what?

I'd like the comment of being the keeper of such knowledge, stricken from the record.

The situation in the local surgery is ridiculous at the moment! When hubby rang for his blood test results he was told the doctor wanted to see him about them. But they couldn't/ wouldn't give him an appointment for another 3 weeks. He tried ringing again the next day to see if they could get him in earlier , but was told by the receptionist "it's only a routine thing, nothing urgent so you can wait". So hubby went on for 3 weeks longer eating things that the doctor wanted to warn him not to as it was seriously affecting his health
