in the brook ? or at the site? Most of the debris is still there - and smelling nasty.
The site.in the brook ? or at the site?
We were at the scrap yard earlier in the week & no-one looked like they were doing anything to clean it up....The site.
There doesn't look to me much progress in redeeming the situation.
The "chickenfeed" to soak up the oil is still scattered all over the road.
It looks just like the pictures that I took last Sunday - apart from the diggers being absent now.We were at the scrap yard earlier in the week & no-one looked like they were doing anything to clean it up....
They've probably got to wait for the insurance people to investigate first, & being as they didn't have a licence for the oil the insurance won't be valid....It looks just like the pictures that I took last Sunday - apart from the diggers being absent now.
Still no obvious activity at the site.
Some big pieces of cladding flailing round in the wind today.
And the smell continues detectable all the way to Beaconside.
"Burnt plastic",Is it a chemical smell?
"Burnt plastic",
And one of them has escaped into the street - hopefully nobody was passing at the time. Some big pieces of cladding flailing round in the wind today.
Very little attention seems to have been paid to the aftermath since I last went past there, three weeks ago - I wonder how long it will be left like that?
The smell has at least subsided a bit.
