Walk past it regularly with people I support, who live just off Marston Court, Marston Road, part of the Northfields Village. Can't believe how little has happened with the site! If I am walking with new staff members I have to relay the sorry tail! (Bet that enthrals em! NOT! Ed )

Yep out walking with a client and another member of staff, went past the original site about 3.15, plume was growing at that point, guessed it was the tip, as that is where it seemed to be emanating from!

My son came home from school telling me he saw a big fire , he said he could see the smoke from seighford apparently. Whether or not he could is another story lol

I once described such environment as an apron, it caused mighty confusion....

I've spoken to 2 blokes from the Enviromental agency, or whatever it is, and they both said it will be polluted for more yrs than anyone can hazard a guess at. Ground absorption etc.
Makes you wonder what other hazardous products are stored/ manufactured in the Stafford area?

Walked paz,st the new building pictured last week, after many months of inactivity they have certainly got a move on. Impressive size, hope they are a bit more careful with storage of oil!
