I was going to say 'they sit down for a wee' however as the years progress, they're not alone......

Well i'm now back and rather tipsy. Only had 1 beer the peach melbear and i'm afraid i didn't like it. The ciders however were a different matter. My absolute favourite was the Moonshine, yum yum yum i wanted a cask of that. Hubby was rather taken by the Cheddar Valley. We over estimated the amount of tokens we needed though and had to get a refund. Walked back into town happily clutching our souvenier glasses.

Tried a few but thought Lancaster red and Ruby Mild were good for the dark ones, the Ginger Beer was nice and the Moonshine was particularly moreish!!! Really good that closing time came early and my mate, the caretaker, sort of nudged us towards the exit, otherwise it could've been a snooze in a bush! Ahem!

I'll be making a visit later this evening, although will have to resist too much temptation as I have work on the morrow!

Should be there at 7 o'clock but watch out there's gonna be a Gilbert about and from what i've seen of his latest squeeze it could get a bit loud.......

Liverpool Organic - 24 Carat Gold If you are in Liverpool the Lord Warden near Lime Street Station often has this on and was £2 a pint

Tried a number last night Lancaster Red, Jaipur IPA and Liverpool organic were my recommendations.

Missed the Citra so I'll visit tonight

Def recommend the Citra.... very tasty.

I went Thursday abd all day yesterday and managed to try all the beers ive not had before, helped greatly by being to buy 1/3 pints.

My favourites were Citra and Peach Melbear.

Now i didn't get on with the melbear. It smelled delicious but on tasting it i couldn't taste any peachyness at all and found it strange and a little unpleasant, not at all what i hoped it tasted like from the smell.
Vive la diff'rance however :D
