Chase Road is closed so that Fire Engines can get down it.

Not a particularly difficult concept to grasp.

accept instead of using the car parks which now have no access as the road is closed people are now parking in front of the road closed signs. can't the council make the road no waiting /parking/ loading and towaway those that can't read. the long walk and retrieval costs would ensure they only did it once.

When I went to the Chase yesterday there were cars parked by the accesses but they'd parked against the verge with plenty of room for any emergency services to get through.

Most people were using the lay-by parking on Camp Road.

Except, instead of having to move maybe two cars, you might be faced with about two miles of this -

It would appear we've had only a third of our usual April rain fall, so every bit of carelessness with BBQ sets or disgarded lights will be a risk. Hope we can get a bit of rain and some forceful warning reminders.
