Still on the 'spare field' today and all I got was a spare pair of loppers. There were the usual strange items - a pair of port-holes, a selection of ukuleles, several machettes, etc.

I proberbly missed them with the excitment of the tv and the jog to the cash point and back, and the missus ringing me inthe middle of it all and asking "Why are you panting, what are you doing" !

Went to Cannock this morning, not at all worthwhile. Nothing bought except Breakfast.

Hopefully better times ahead over the Bank Holiday Weekend.

Well, much bigger than I was expecting, considering the moistness.

I got a Makita 40mm SDS chisel.

We'll see what tomorrow brings - weather permitting, of course.

Well, it wasn't as big as it might have been today, what with the frost and the breeze, I suppose. I got a Chillington 4888C blade, which they don't seem to still be manufacturing, although it's quite similar to the 6029C that's still in their African catalogue. I also got a new earth clamp, so that I can now be fully compliant - and an Eterna ceiling converter, as I can foresee the day when I have to convert an R80 fitting to GU10.

There was the usual surfeit of skis - and a tandem frame, should anybody have been searching for one at length...

Small enough to walk round 3 times, so I didn't miss anything,
bought a tin of blue paint that matches the front door and a pack of laminating pouches.
only spent £2, still haven't found a decent small axe, though there was a "tree size" axe for £3

I did check for small axes today, but saw nothing, also. If you get desperate, then the Stafford Beast has a hand-axe that I sharpened for him and he only lives at the bottom of your hill.

Is it rained off today? I can see where it normally is from the window, but it isn't! Could still be near the entrance I guess? Only wanted some veg, so will prob just go to lidl.

Hmm, vaguely worrying, that!
Didn’t even attempt to go today, saw the forecast last night and stayed in bed.

Quite large today, after the backlog of a wet Sunday, I suppose. Not much for me, though. All there was was a Philips MC 165 for four quid. All seems to be fully functional and I now, therefore, at last have a compatible remote for the MC 175 that I already have - one or two functions require the remote, and, although, I've managed to live without it, it's nice to have one at last that will control both sets as and when required.
