I finally found something interesting for me - a sort of Edwardian multi-tool, very like this...

MFHollowHandleTool4.jpg
..the end of the handle screws off to reveal the tool storage space..

..well worth £1:50..

i find it amazing that these sort of things made years ago knock the spots of the plastic cr@p you get these days.

..looking at the handle , id give it a wash as it looks like that can serve a purpose too

Got some 2' SDS drill bits from the guy selling all the Lidl tools, not a bad set for £6.

They're very good for the money - I had a set when they were in the shop a few weeks back. I had a set of the Aldi metre-long ones some years ago and they've been very handy a few times..

Not long ago, you would have had to pay stupid money for these things.

Nothing for me today, but I did end up bringing away a bathroom floor for the Stafford Beast's mother and some specialist assassination equipment for Alan B'Stard.

But, at the last moment I saw some fire tongs..

I bought a 24 foot ladder, wanted one for ages when I saw the grass growing in my roof gutter get higher and higher, I shall now be gardening at the 20 foot level!!!

First time I've been for a while, quite big, considering yesterday's weather. Nothing at all for me, but there was a genuine Kendo shinai, should anybody be looking for one.

And a variety of stuffed animals, including a fox in two halves, if you wanted to make some unusual bookends.

Loads of stuff - but, again, nothing for me. Cream Venetian blinds all over the place and a large choice of kick-boxing equipment - has it gone out of fashion?

ANYBODY NEED A BAG OF VEG? - Yes, I'll shove it down your throat!

..taken me a while to get home to post this, as the clouds kept obscuring the Sun..

Several Esso Blue tins - and a couple who appeared to be selling a table lamp and a pair of trousers - either they had been very successful before I arrived or I was missing something.....

Nothing of interest for me today, but I did make a mental note to report that the veg men weren't there - then, I realised that they were, but with much less pointless shouting than 'normal'.
